The leadership of Good Leadership Promotion Network led by it Deputy National Coordinator Olasunkanmi Cicero and National Secretary Barr. Ayantunji Olubunmi met with the leadership of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, led by Magdalene Anene-Maidoh, the Education & Partnerships Officer, UNESCO Regional Office, UN House, Abuja.
The team from GOLPRONET presented a slide presentation of the journey so far of the SDGs Spelling Bee Competition to the UNESCO team. A comprehensive report was given on the success of the event in Osun, Ondo and Ekiti States. The Deputy National Coordinator, Mr Cicero asked for a partnership between both organisations.
Magdalene Anene-Maidoh, the Education & Partnerships Officer, UNESCO Regional Office, in her response appreciated GOLPRONET for its efforts and expressed the appreciation and support of the Regional office under the leadership of Mr YDO Yao, the Regional Director UNESCO Multisectoral Regional Office in Abuja. A second round of discussions are to be held with the office of Executive Secretary National Commission on UNESCO.
